After two weeks of no racing due to excess wind, we got lucky with warm weather, no rain, a bit of sun, and a decent breeze. The wind was from the SE so a course from Indian Point to the tower and back was a nice long windward/leeward race. The competition was close and all of the TBirds finished within around five minutes of each other. Bertram Levy, in the beautiful (but waterline length challenged) wooden boat Murrelet, came in seventh. It was a fun day out on the bay. Next race: this coming Saturday 2/1/2020 at 1pm (weather permitting).
