Monday Evenings – It’s dinghy night! Lasers, 505’s, PT11’s, Sunfish, PT15’s…all small boats welcome. Get wet, have fun.

  • May – August (TBD) | Small Boat Series

Wednesdays Evenings – These series’ run for one month each. Thunderbirds usually do two races each evening on windward/leeward courses run from the committee boat. PHRF boats get their own windward start and more of a random leg course.

  • May | Sunshine Series
  • June | Midsummer Series
  • July | Catspaw Series
  • August | Dog Days Series

Fridays Evenings – There will be no formal Friday races this year. However, see below.

Saturdays – Once-a-month series for PHRF boats with a committee boat start that will begin in April and end in August. More on this coming…

Saturdays – When it’s too dark to race in the evenings

  • Jan – March | Frostbite Series – casual practice racing, no committee boat
  • Sept – Oct | Nightcap Series – PHRF racing, committee boat starts

Saturdays – Distance race series. Due to a lack of participation in 2025 there are no planned distances races for 2026.

Sunday Fundays – Casual sailing oriented for beginners or those wanting to chill out.

  • There there may be one these early in the year but that will be it. Again, due to lack of participation.

  • 2025 General Sailing Instructions -This document pretty much covers all the details having to do with racing with PTSA. It covers the WEEKLY SERIES races and ALSO HAS IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OTHER RACES, which will have their own addendum to these sailing instructions. UPDATES FOR 2026 IN PROGRESS.
