A quick note to inform everyone of the schedule changes for Classic Mariners Regatta. There will be only one day of racing, the pursuit race on Sunday June 7th, starting at 12:00pm. Entry fee remains $40.00 and now includes Pizza and refreshments at the clubhouse after sailing on Sunday – payable at the skippers meeting at 10:00am. Awards and a casual dinner will commence between 4:00 and 4:30 pm when we’re off the water. Sailing Instructions will be updated to reflect the schedule change. Our apologies for the late schedule change.
This is due to very few advanced registrations and the associated costs of the event Any boats that have advanced registered and paid for meal tickets will get a reimbursement of their meal ticket costs since dinner is now included in the registration fee. We will reach out on how to best refund the cost of the meal tickets that were part of the advanced registration. If you are unable to attend due to the schedule change you will be refunded your cost as well.
This long cherished regatta will be held on June 7, 2026 in Port Townsend with racing on Port Townsend Bay. This one day, weekend event is organized by the Port Townsend Sailing Association and supported by Northwest Maritime. Once again the event is open to sailboats of all designs and materials. All sailboats are welcome!
