The Port Townsend Sailing Association (PTSA) mission is to promote sailing on Port Townsend Bay and surrounding waters; to provide opportunities for youth and adults in the greater Port Townsend community to learn and improve sailboat handling; to foster sailboat racing and seamanship; and to preserve and celebrate the legacy of traditional wooden sailboats. Founded in 2006, PTSA builds on a rich heritage that includes the Wooden Boat Foundation, the Quimper Tars, and the Wooden Yacht Racing Association.
