Twelve boats came out to enjoy a beautiful evening of warm sun and blue sky but no reliable wind. There was a strong tide which submerged the pin and scattered the boats. The RC designated a nearby anchored visiting boat as both the pin and a rounding mark. After everyone had been flopping and drifting around for forty minutes the race committee lost patience and dug out the “N” flag. We will try again for Race 4 next Friday.
