Most interesting race of the year. Anchor off of Ft Warden and send someone ashore in whatever manner possible. Race starts on shore and boats can raise anchor as soon as your representative makes her/his way back to the boat. Sail the course and finish on the beach by the NW Maritime Center by drinking a shot of rum from the ceremonial keg.
Entry fee: one bottle of good rum.
