Join us, Saturday July 23, for a Mystery Bay overnight excursion.  There will be an informal start off City Dock at 10:00 a.m, heading to I (buoy off Indian Point near Boat Haven entrance), to G (entrance to Kilisut harbor), and a procession  through the channel to Mystery Bay.  EVERYONE WELCOME!

The tide will be  flooding all day, so the passage through the channel to Mystery Bay should be easy.  John Piskula reports that all of the channel markers have been reset recently.  CAUTION: there are some tricky turns and shallow banks.  He will await us in his dinghy and give direction.

Designated meeting spot is just south of the big dock off Mystery Bay State Park on the north side of Mystery Bay.  There are some state mooring buoys, and some eel grass buoys.  There is a “voluntary” do not anchor zone just inside the bay entrance.  We’ll do the best we can….

Festivities are on boats, and on the beach.  Mystery Bay Park offers picnic tables, fire pits, and on shore bathroom facilities.

BYO food and libations.  Bring instruments. Bring good  cheer. Some beach chairs might  be handy.  Tide is flooding most of the day on Sunday, so plan to depart early, or after about 4:30 p.m.

See you at City Dock, 10:00 a.m., Saturday….
