This year’s regatta was again impacted by the ongoing Covid pandemic. The awards party was cancelled and the entry fee restricted.

Also this year the wind failed to cooperate, causing an emergency redefinition of the course. Wind records from the NWMC showed 4 mph from NNW but changing direction by as much 55 deg. The wind on the water in the lee of the waterfront was much weaker and more irregular. Racers needed between 2 to 4 hrs to cover the 4.6 mile course.

The winds were light but the spirits were strong and everybody had time to get around the course (with some creative dinghying from several boats).  Here is a video of some of the highlights of the day from the perspective of the race committee.
