Over the summer, the sailing team attended race nights run by PTSA, as well as practices every week. During July, Lhotse Rowell, Panya Cao, Ocean Smith, and Hazel Windstorm attended the Wind Clinic at CGRA in Cascade Locks, Oregon. Lhotse and Hazel sailed lasers, placing 21st of 32 and 25th of 32, and Panya and Ocean sailed a C420 and placed 8th of 11. Panya and Ocean also attended the JAM Regatta in Bainbridge, placing 9th of 24. Luca Cambell sailed with Ocean at a Youth Circuit Regatta in Bellingham, placing 7th of 17. The summer season is now over, but practices will resume in the first half of September, with the first regatta at the end of September.
