The Bush Point Race was the final of the three race Distance Series. This year the first race, Smith Island, was cancelled due to dangerous conditions in the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Thirty Five mph Westerly winds and Four ft. seas in the area of Smith Island.

Through a series of miscommunications,  two boats were originally reported DNF.
