For those of you who haven’t heard, I’m delighted to announce that Adventuress is one of only twenty-five historic sites in the Puget Sound region vying for a portion of one million dollars in grant funds from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express. It’s an online voting campaign and if Adventuress wins, Sound Experience is guaranteed $100,000 to spend on restoration (and shipwrights!) next winter.
And right now, Adventuress is in FIRST PLACE!
