The PTSA came to the rescue when the Sloop Tavern Yacht Club was having trouble finding a boat and volunteers to staff the race committee for the finish on Saturday and the start on Sunday of their very popular Race to the Straits. The race is a two day event starting and ending near Shilshole with a stopover in PT. Jeff Brantley, David Grubs, Elijah, Jim Heumann, Stig Osterberg, and Angela Brantley all jumped on the PTSA committee boat to save the day. It was a fun time and the event went off without a hitch.
Speaking of success, Sir Isaac, double handed by John and Ann Bailey, and the only PTSA boat in the race, got first in their division and seventh overall in a fleet of over 70 boats! Well done John and Ann.
