LOOKING AHEAD FOR THE REST OF THE RACING SEASON

• The Nightcap Series series started Saturday, September 26, and continues every Saturday through October 24. 1pm start, all classes welcome!
• The Last Chance regatta will be held Saturday October 31. Yes, it will be your last chance to race with PTSA this year. It's a fun event similar to the Shipwrights Regatta. There will be a party afterwards with snacks, drinks, and awards!
• Our annual year-end party/potluck is scheduled for Thursday, November 12, 5:30 at the Cotton Building on Water Street in downtown PT.

NEW BOAT HAVEN MAST-UP BOAT STORAGE

You may have noticed the new wood fence near the PTSA clubhouse. The Port has moved the wherries/dinghies into this new "corral". The plan is for mast-up boat/trailer storage along the sidewalk where the wherries were. There has not yet been any official word as to how these mast-up spaces will be allocated, so we encourage anyone who is intrigued to call the yard office, 360-385-6211 and let them know that you may be interested.  PTSA Laser storage will remain the same for now.

OLIVER WIDGER SENDOFF

Many of you may be familiar with Oliver Widger (AKA Sailing With Phoenix). This Friday, October 2nd, at 0700, he will depart Point Hudson for a solo non-stop circumnavigation.  A flotilla sendoff is being organized to show PT's support for this big adventure. People are encouraged to come out on the water in their boats.  Those that cannot can gather at the Point Hudson jetty boardwalk and out on the point.
