Looking around the yard these days you might think that large, wooden classic motor yachts of the past were a common sight to see. That, of course, is simply not the case unless you're lucky enough to be in Port Townsend.

There were a row of five of large wooden motor yachts lined up this morning, with three in front of Admiral Ship Supply and another two in front of Haven Boatworks. Out on the linear dock was number six, the quite glorious M/V WESTWARD looking shiny and ready for the summer cruising season.

Really something to check out those NW classics. But then it's a pretty rare day where there isn't something interesting to see in the Boat Haven yard.
