A big thanks to Myron, Dave, Lenore and everyone else who helped out on the Race Committee during the Cats Paw Series. Thanks, too, to Wendy Feltham for all the great pictures.
Seven boats turned out for the final race of the “rather unusual” summer series. Â “Spotty” NW wind with little current made the shortest course, Indian Point, around the “D” buoy (named for Doug for setting it. Â Not really but he deserves it.) with a hopeful twice around seem do-able. Â Returning on the first lap, the lead boats had to divert for a long time for the Ferry, but no places were changed and our fleet represented itself well.
Though the wind was diminishing toward the end of the race, all boats finished with time to spare.
